What we do

We aim to deliver inclusive, small-group activities that help people to:

  • Develop essential digital skills for everyday life and work

  • Build practical food and cake decorating skills, including hands-on decorating techniques

  • Increase confidence, well-being, and independence

  • Take positive steps towards volunteering, training or employment

Our approach is friendly, practical and designed for people with little or no prior experience.

  • Preparing for volunteering, training or employment

  • Building routines and independence

Where appropriate, we will work with partners to support progression into further opportunities.

Digital Skills

We are developing and piloting community-based digital skills courses designed to support people who are digitally excluded. Our digital skills activities will include:

  • Setting up and using email

  • Using smartphones, tablets and laptops

  • Completing online forms and accessing services

  • Online job search and applications

  • Creating CVs and basic digital documents

  • Staying safe and confident online

Learning is delivered in small groups, with step-by-step guidance and plenty of practical support.

Community Food & Cake Decorating

We plan to deliver practical, hands-on food and cake decorating activities that help participants build confidence, creativity and transferable skills in a relaxed environment.

Sessions will focus on accessible decorating techniques, food presentation and creative expression, rather than full cooking or kitchen-based activity. This makes our programmes suitable for delivery in community venues without specialist kitchen facilities.

Activities are designed to be:

  • Beginner-friendly

  • Confidence-building

  • Enjoyable and social

  • Accessible for people with little or no prior experience

Through cake decorating, participants will develop patience, focus, fine motor skills and pride in their work, while enjoying a positive shared learning experience.

All programmes are non-accredited and aligned with Essential Digital Skills, allowing us to meet learners at their own pace.
